I was just thinking (I take time out of my day to do that) that Sony should not remove the Hard Drive from their package. Sure, admittedly I am an Xbox fan, but overall I am a gamer, so my idea applies here. Why cut the HDD when they should cut some of the excessive ports on the back of the console, maybe make the machine only support 4 Blu-tooth contollers instead of 7? By shipping the PS3 w/o a HDD, they are giving M$ a leg-up in the console wars. A 20GB HDD is pretty cheap these days, why make it a $30 add-on. It'll only alienate a few moer potential customers, IMO.

Hmph. Not my problem, but I perfer a fair fight.

I think we all knew that Sony would have to cut something in order to be in the same price range as M$. Hard drive would be the first to go. Whether or not that will make the difference, we have yet to see. So, the Xbox 360 will launch with the 20 gig removable HD, but the PS3 will not. Hmmm, I wonder how that will affect things... Guess we'll see in 1 year.
