See, Sharpie picked up on my new found respect for the dishwasher. The friggin' thing can explode. Any man knows that if something could explode, it is inherently cool because of that possible function. Not sure how you got confused, Stonedsand, since you brought up the topic to begin with.

I'll make a gamertag as soon as I get a definitive name for myself. Is "Identity Crisis" taken?

Oh yeah. I almost forgot. The guy who purchased the gold 360 face plate should really know that gold is a better conductor than copper.

Although I found your article quite interesting (especially the exploding dishwasher), what I was most enchanted with was your gamer card posted on the side of your website. "Wow" I thought to myself. "Now there is a kick-ace looking real estate accessory."

So I gave it a click and what happens? MS asks me to set up an Xbox Live gamer profile. As luck would have it, I already had a MS Passport account under sharpie.nate@gmail.com so I used that info to start a new gamer profile on Xbox Live without ever actually placing a virtual foot in that Never Never Land of fun and frivolity.

Long story short, here I am in all my glory.

Thanks StoneSand. Without your endless technical ramblings and quirky humor I never would have seen your gamer card and probably would have missed out on the opportunity to reserve a perfect GT for myself that, I suppose, eventually I'll use on XBL. :)

Because it washes dishes so well? I be confused. Amen to not wanting people on my screen - I didn't spend $650 so little jimmy could take up half of it. On the other hand, I'd rather have somebody on my screen than have less people in a Halo 2 game.

I'm sure any interference between the wireless adapter and the controllers is minimal, too.

Hey - I was at Costco just a few hours ago, and I had the chance to buy, on Christmas gift card money, a 360 game. It turns out that I just couldn't do it. All they had was PDZ, PGR3, King Kong, a couple of sports games, COD2, and kameo. I just don't think so. Maybe if they'd had Dead or Alive - but not for those titles. Call it self-control - I'm playing through Chaos Theory, which I never beat. I'm also really enjoying Gauntlet on Xbox Live - too good.

Good news to me. As you know, I cancelled my Gamestop pre-order and used that surplus of $$ to buy a wireless adapter and a new wireless Linksys router for the LANtacular events we so often enjoy. Do you honestly think you'll allow 4 people to play on your 360 during LAN parties? I doubt it. You're rarely eager to go split screen. So the 2.4Ghz interference may be less than you think. That pic with all the wires meshed together is hilarious, and yet, painfully memorable as well. That solid gold face plate is atrocious. Why would you need that sort of bling, bling? Maybe I'll understand one day.

P.S. I have found new respect for my dishwasher. Thanks.
