From the Halo 3 FAQ:
Q) Is this the last ever Halo game?

A) It is the conclusion to this story arc.

This is wonderful news. This means that the universe is not dead, and there can be further exploits by any and all of its characters.

Added what I want to say about the kick-off of Halo 3. Also, at the end, I added a link that I think tips Bungie's hand that there will be an ARG for Halo 3. If you go to that page and search for the word "bee", you'll find it italicised by Frankie. Speculation: commence!

Saw it, wasn't too impressed. (I wrote a longer response, but my connection gave out and I have to retype this all, so this is me paraphrasing from earlier.) Basically, I think that the teaser was not very well done in that the graphics looked marginally better than Halo 2. Is this a bad thing?

No.

This teaser was all I really needed. I didn't want a lot, just a small announcement from Bungie finally stating that they were working on Halo 3, that it was coming along nicely, and that the fight would go on. I got what I wanted. They still have 7 months until 2007, and probably about a year before it is released (I'm thinking it'll launch when the PS3 finally gets over the production issues). Now, I am not saying the teaser was terrible, but it sure didn't get me hyped for anything. I'll just keep it on the back burner, read the weekly Whats Updates from Bungie, and bide my time with othe games coming out sooner.

I'll have to watch the teaser again, as I saw it once on my way out the door. Maybe I'll have something more to add.
